Assam to get pet care hospital soon

Guwahati, May 2 : The Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, announced the establishment of three specialized pet care hospitals and five veterinary medical facilities in the state to enhance animal treatment services. The specialized pet care hospitals will be located in Guwahati, Bokakhat, and Dibrugarh, and are expected to be operational by the end of 2025.

Additionally, the multi-care veterinary hospitals will be set up in Kamrup, Golaghat, Lakhimpur, Tinsukia, and Sivasagar, as part of a comprehensive plan to support animal healthcare in Assam.
