Assam Rifles seize drugs hidden in sack of pulses, 3 arrested

November 15: On the basis of specific information, Assam Rifles conducted a raid on Friday in Karimganj. The operation led by the Assam Rifles was bang on target. They were able to seize huge quantity of drugs which were hidden in a sack of pulses. On opening the sack, the drugs were revealed.

In this connection, 3 persons were also caught red-handed. The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Asmad Sultan, Altaf Hussain and Ruhul Alam. All of them were handed over to Karimganj police. The interrogation of the three drug peddlers were on. Police is trying to ascertain the details of the racket from them.
