Assam reports 535 COVID-19 +ve cases on Saturday, total crosses 16,000-mark
Active cases 5607 in Assam
July 11: On Saturday, Assam recorded a total of 535 COVID-19 positive cases, much less than that reported on Friday. With this, the state tally has also gone upto 16,071, out of which, 5607 are active cases. Further, 2 cases of deaths due to COVID-19 were also reported during the day. In these difficult times, the ray of hope is the recovery of large number of corona patients. On Saturday, a total of 578 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 9848 patients were discharged from various hospitals of the state as of now. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet wrote,Alert ~ 535 new #COVID ve+ cases in Assam, 410 in Guwahati alone. Hold on to care, precautions & hope a little longer. We shall win over #COVID together!”
