Assam registers 6 more COVID-19 deaths including 1 from Karimganj, tally rises to 151

August 10: Monday witnessed 6 more deaths due to COVID-19 in Assam. The deceased were identified as Sanjib Kumar Bhuyan (52) from Sonitpur; Subir Kumar Das (70) from Karimganj; Salil Choudhury (58) from Dibrugarh; Kali Santosh Bhattacharjee (68), Chandan Mahanta (26) and Late Ashok K Choudhury (65) from Kamrup Metro. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday. With this, the death tally of the state due to COVID-19 has gone upto 151.
