38 discharged in Assam including 14 from Silchar Medical

May 30: Amidst the news of so many new positive cases of COVID-19 in Assam, there are some information coming in which would give atleast some respite at this juncture. 38 more COVID-19 patients were discharged on Saturday after they tested negative twice for COVID-19. With this, a total of 163 patients were discharged from various hospitals in Assam. At present out of 1100 total cases, 930 of them are active. Sharing this information, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma gave the break-up of the patients who were discharged:

• SMCH 14
• MMCH 11
• FAAMC 8
• JMCH 3
• GMCH 2
