Assam records 859 +ve cases on Tuesday, state tally 18,666

July 14: Tuesday recorded 859 fresh cases in Assam. With this, the state tally has gone upto 18,666. At present, there are 6444 active cases in the state. On Tuesday, 757 patients were discharged. As of now, a total of 12,173 persons recovered in the state. However, there were six more deaths in the state taking the death tally to 46. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ 859 new #COVID19 ve+ patients in Assam, 627 in Guwahati alone. Take care & precautions.”
