Assam govt to release full salary of its employees on 1 July: Himanta

June 30: Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, a fear gripped the government employees as regards the disbursal of salary. However, till now, the Assam government has been disbursing full salary to all its employees. For paying the salary of the employees in the month of July, there was no budget provision. However, Assam Finance Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma solved this issue and paved the way for release of complete salary of the employees on 1 July, 2020.

Sharing this information, Finance Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “I am pleased to share that complete salary of Assam Government employees for June will be released on 1st July.” The Finance Minister further informed that,  “Despite the apparent challenges and financial constraints, we’re trying our best to ensure least problems for all. We highly value your patience & understanding.”
