Assam gets 4 lakh doses of Covishield

Aug. 6: “Stock Exhausted” was a common poster seen outside most of the Covid vaccination centres in the state off and on. Meanwhile, Assam got a substantial number of Covishield doses on Thursday, which would soon be disbursed to the districts. Taking to his twitter handle on, state Health Minister Keshab Mahanta wrote, “We have received 4,00,000 doses of Covishield today.” This means, in all probability, vaccines will be available in the districts again from Monday onwards.
