Assam Cabinet decides to stop felicitations of CM & Ministers at official meetings

Jan. 27: The Assam Cabinet on Thursday took some significant decisions regarding governance. The Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma took the decision to stop felicitations of Chief Minister and Ministers at official meetings.

Guidelines For Reception of Dignitaries

• The practice of felicitation and offering gifts to CM, Ministers and senior officials during any official function to be discontinued. However, visiting dignitaries will be provided with proper courtesy.
