Arms & ammunition recovered at Badarpur Railway Station, 2 arrested

April 4:  In a major drive by Railway Police, huge quantity of arms and ammunition was found at Badarpur Railway Station. On Sunday evening, the cops recovered four 7.65 mm pistols, eight magazines and 15 live cartridges. Two persons who were in the possession of these arms and ammunition were also arrested, while the third person managed to escape.

As per Railway Police, the youths came from Bihar and were on their way to Agartala in Tripura. The 2 youths who were arrested were identified as Chuman Kumar and Bikash Kumar Tiwari. The 3rd one who fled away was identified as Indrajit Kumar. Meanwhile, police is interrogating the two youths in order to unearth the further details.
