By June 2022, 16,000 TET qualified teachers will be appointed: CM Assam

March 23: During the ongoing Budget Session of Assam Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that around 16,000 TET qualified candidates will get appointment as teachers by June, 2022. He, however, also clarified that by mere qualifying TET, one should not think that he/she will be automatically appointed as teacher.
