Out of 33,656 tests done on Saturday, 1632 found +ve in Assam; 14 deaths registered

Oct. 3: On Saturday, 1632 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now reached 1,85,444, out of which, 35,746 are active cases. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ 1632 #COVID cases detected out of 33656 tests today. Positivity Rate for the day- 4.85%.”

Moreover, during the day, another 14 persons in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of Assam to 735.
