Another 40 patients discharged in Assam, recovery rate of state rises to 63.2%

June 21: On Sunday, initially 158 patients were released. This was followed by discharge of 40 more patients. On Sunday, a total of 198 patients were released from different hospitals across the state. The active cases have again come down below 2000. At present, there are 1972 active cases in Assam. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Heartening that with 40 more discharge today of patients from Kamrup M we have reached a recovery rate of 63.2%.”
