Alumni Association of Govt Girls’ HS & MP School observes Int’l Women’s Day in a befitting manner

March 12: International Women’s Day was celebrated in a befitting manner on 8 March by the  Alumni Association of Government Girls’ HS & MP School, Silchar. During the occasion, two persons associated with the school were felicitated.

Those accorded felicitation by the Alumni Association were temporary teacher Sushmita Joshi and Mandira Das, who runs canteen at Govt Girls’ HS School.

Earlier, Arati Roy Choudhury on behalf of his Alumni Association spoke about the importance of the celebration of International Women’s Day. This was followed by narration of the history of the school by the veteran member of the association, Anuradha Sanyal.

This initiative by the Alumni Association was praised by the Principal and other teachers of the school. The programme was organized at the room of the Alumni Association.
