All post-retirement benefits like GPF, gratuity, leave encashment & GIS through single window interface: Budget

March 16: Assam Finance Minister Ajanta Neog on Wednesday presented the state budget for the year 2022-23. In her budget speech, Finance Minister Ajanta Neog stated, “All post-retirement benefits will be ensured for State Govt employees: Payment of GPF, Gratuity, Leave Encashment and GIS through single window interface.”

Further, it was also informed by the Minister that dedicated IT portal to be launched for a simplified medical reimbursement process for State Govt employees. Empanelled hospitals to be withdrawn so that employees can avail treatment at hospital of their choice. Also Rs 129.89 cr earmarked towards interest subvention for State Govt employees under Apun Ghar and Bidyalakshmi scheme at subsidized rate of interest.
