Alarming! 69 tests COVID-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday; 2 deaths registered
Active cases 617 in the state
April 4: On Sunday, out of 7,075 tests, 69 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,18,670. The positivity rate in the state is 0.98 percent. At present, there are 617 active cases in the state.
On Sunday, 48 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,15,597 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by NHM, Assam. The recovery rate in the state is 98.59%.
Further, during the day, 02 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally of the state now stands at 1,109.
