Akhil Assam Bhojpuri Parishad distribute relief among 80 families in Silchar
April 20: The Cachar Zila Samiti of Akhil Assam Bhojpuri Parishad (AABP) distributed grocery commodities like rice, dal, onion, potato, salt and mustard oil to 80 families in Silchar. Among them, 25 families are infact the residents of Bihar who have got struck at Swamiji Road, Silchar due to the ongoing lockdown. This is the 1st phase of distribution by AABP, Cachar.
The outbreak of coronavirus in the country has rendered many without work and income. We have tried in our own humble way to help some of these people at this hour of crisis. We will try to help more such people in the coming days, said Sanjeev Roy, Vice President of AABP.
Present during the relief distribution were Dr Ranjan Singh, President AABP Cachar, Sanjeev Roy, Vice President, AABP Central Committee Assam, Yugal Kishore Tripathy, Working President, AABP, Cachar, Dilip Singh, Secy, AABP Cachar, Kameshwar Gajlu, Execute Member, Nonda Roy, Executive Member, Sudhir Kumar, Biswajit Yadav, Brijbhan Singh, Sonu Patoa, Anup Singh, Rakesh Tewari among others.
