Air India & SpiceJet cancel Silchar-Kolkata flights from 25 May till further notice
Flights to resume operation from Kolkata on 28 May
May 24: In view of the recent developments, the operations of following flights, to & from Silchar Airport stands cancelled w.e.f 25.05.2020 till further notice. Air India flight no. AI753/754 & Spicejet Flight no 3218/19 both for CCU-IXS-CCU sector. This was shared by Silchar Airport in its official Facebook page.
As West Bengal Government is involved in restoration work after cyclone Amphan, State Govt requested MoCA to defer resumption of flights from Kolkata Airport. Accordingly, flights will resume from Kolkata from 28 May, with reduced schedule.
