After 34 years Maruti Suzuki stops producing Gypsy
March 7: As per reports, Maruti Suzuki company is stopping producing one of its most popular brand ‘Gypsy’ which was introduced in 1985. Maruti Suzuki in a recent e-mail addressed to its dealers asked them not to accept any new bookings for the Gypsy.
Maruti Suzuki’s first vehicle was its iconic brand 800 which was discontinued in 2014. Its second brand Omni van will be1 discontinued in 2020. Gypsy was the company’s third vehicle in the country which will now no more be produced.
Maruti Suzuki Gypsy was an important part of the Indian armed forces for over a decade. As per sources, Maruti Jimmy may be launched as Gypsy replacement.
