ADRE 2024: Assam govt to come up with SOP on frisking of women candidates

way2barak, Sept 16: Assam government on Monday asked police to carry out an investigation into complaint by a female job aspirant that a female police constable had frisked her inappropriately just before a written examination for recruitment in grade-III posts.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma asked director general of police GP Singh to carry out the investigation after her compliant in Nalbari district. Following this, Singh asked a woman DIG to rush to the district and carry out an investigation.
