খোঁজ মিলল নিরঞ্জন দাসের। শিলচর সতসঙ্গ আশ্রম সংলগ্ন ব্যবসায়ীরা তাঁকে দেখে চিনে ফেলেন। ফোন করেন তাঁর স্ত্রীর মোবাইলে। পরে তাঁরা গিয়ে নিয়ে আসেন তাঁকে।

ডাক্তার দেখাতে শিলচরে এসে হারিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন ত্রিপুরার ধর্মনগরের বাসিন্দা নিরঞ্জনবাবু। থাইরয়েডের সমস্যা রয়েছে তাঁর। ভুলে যাওয়ার একটা রোগও নতুন করে দেখা দিয়েছে। গত শনিবার বিকেলে শিলচর বিদ্যাসাগর সরণির রামঠাকুর আশ্রম যাত্রীনিবাসে তাঁকে রেখে ল্যাবরেটরি থেকে রিপোর্ট আনতে গিয়েছিলেন স্ত্রী-কন্যা। ফিরে দেখেন, তিনি নেই। সে থেকে খোঁজাখুঁজি। রাঙ্গিরখাড়ি পুলিশ ফাঁড়িতে নিখোঁজ সংক্রান্ত এজাহার দেন। পরে মা-মেয়ে ঘুরে বেড়ান রেলস্টেশন, বাসস্ট্যান্ড সহ সম্ভাব্য সব জায়গায়। গিয়েছিলেন সতসঙ্গ আশ্রমেও। কোথাও গেলে ঠাকুরের আশ্রমে যাওয়ার অভ্যাস রয়েছে অবসরপ্রাপ্ত সরকারি কর্মী নিরঞ্জনবাবুর। সে জন্য আশেপাশে সব দোকানে তাঁর ছবি দেখিয়ে আসেন তাঁরা। দিয়ে আসেন মোবাইল নম্বরও। এর মধ্যে স্থানীয় পত্রিকায় খবর বেরিয়েছে। ছাপা হয়েছে বিজ্ঞাপনও।

নিরঞ্জনবাবুর স্ত্রী দেবশ্রীদেবীর অনুমান ভুল হয়নি। আজ সকালে নিরঞ্জনবাবু ঘুরতে ঘুরতে আশ্রমে গিয়ে উপস্থিত হন। হঠাত এক ব্যবসায়ীর নজরে পড়েন। অন্যরাও এসে দেখেন, তাঁরই ছবি ছাপা হয়েছে। তাঁরা তাঁকে এক দোকানে বসিয়ে দেবশ্রীদেবীকে ফোন করেন। ছুটে যান তাঁরা।
কিন্তু তিনদিন কোথায় ছিলেন, কীভাবে কাটালেন, কিছুই বলতে চান না। তাঁরাও এ নিয়ে চাপ না দিয়ে ডাক্তারের কাছে নিয়ে যাওয়ার কথাই ভাবছেন।

Niranjan Das was found at last. Shopkeepers in the vicinity of Satsang Ashram, Silchar suddenly saw him and were able to identify that he was the missing person. At once they rang his wife who later on came and took Niranjan along with her.

A few days ago, Niranjan Das, a resident of Hospital Road, Dharmanagar (Tripura) came to Silchar for treatment. He was a thyroid patient and came over here for consultation with physicians. Of late, he also suffered from memory loss. He came along with his wife and daughter. Both of them went to collect diagnostic reports of Niranjan Das leaving him in the guest house of Ramthakur Ashman. However, when they returned back, they saw that Niranjan was missing. Das was an employee with the Social Welfare Department of Tripura and retired from service a few months ago.

In this regard they lodged a FIR at Rangirkhari Police Outpost. The mother daughter duo searched him at various places of Silchar. His missing news also came in the newspapers of this valley. Posters were also printed and pasted in various parts of the town. His wife Debashree Das also searched him at Satsang Ashram, Silchar as her husband was generally in the habit of visiting the ashram. She also informed the shopkeepers in the vicinity of the Satsang Ashram and also gave them her mobile number. On Tuesday, the shopkeepers noticed him at the Satsang Ashram and immediately informed his wife. His wife and daughter immediately rushed to the spot.

On being asked where he was in the last 3 days, Niranjan Das was reluctant to reply. Instead of further pressurizing him to speak up, his wife has decided to take him to the doctor.
