Active cases again come down to zero in Cachar
March 7: The District Health Department of Cachar updated the Covid-19 data of Monday at 4.45 PM. As per the latest data, no person was found positive in the district on 7 March. 01 patient was discharged during the day. The number of active cases in Cachar has again come down to zero. It needs mention here that none were found positive on Sunday. The death toll in Cachar due to Covid has reached 36 this year.
As per the updated data, a total of 02 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, no persons were found positive, whereas none were detected positive out of 28 RT-PCR Tests. Moreover, 01 patient was discharged on Monday. With this, the total number of Covid cases since 1 Jan 2022 reached 6,418 whereas during this phase, 6,382 patients were discharged. Finally, there exists no active Covid-19 cases at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). The last 24 hours (5 PM on 6 March to 5 PM on 7 March) also did not witness the death any Covid-19 positive patient at SMCH. None were further detected positive during the day. This was informed by Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Monday evening.
