She was accompanied by DDC Rajib Roy, other Head of Offices of the district who also reached the rural destination in the afternoon.
This was followed by interaction with locals, senior citizens, leading artists etc. Locals gathered in huge numbers to welcome them with Santhal/ Bihu dances, bonfire etc. After night stay at the local government school, the officials led by DC Jalli visited Kadamtala, Pangram, Khashpur and Tikalpar the next morning. She listened to the various problems faced by the people and assured to solve them as early as possible.
In an exclusive experience sharing with way2barak, DC Keerthi Jalli said, “The experience was extremely positive. All the departments took up on our suggestion enthusiastically, braved the cold winters and looked at village based issues from close quarters. Many on the spot resolutions could be done because of convergence of many departments. To see good work in the field was very satisfying as community came together to host us in their humble ways. Staying at night at camp helped build Esprit de corps amongst the team for united vision of collected development.”
