18 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Monday, 74 discharged

June 21: Hailakandi registered only 18 new COVID-19 cases on Monday. Of the 18 positive cases detected on Monday, 14 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 04 persons were found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 515 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 2,218 RAT tests and 521 RT-PCR tests were done. 74 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,387. As of now, a total of 3,455 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 13 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday.

As of now, in the 63,156 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine (irrespective of age), whereas, 18,256 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district. Further, the district had set a target of vaccinating 8,400 persons during the mega drive on Monday. Till 6 PM on Monday, 8,504 persons were vaccinated under this mega drive. The final count will be available later in the evening.
