Another Covid +ve patient dies in a pvt hospital in Silchar, death toll rises to 3 in Cachar on Sunday

June 20: Death of Covid-19 patients continued unabated in Barak Valley. As per later reports, a Covid-19 positive patient breathed his last at Green Heals Pvt Hospital, Silchar on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Asit Baran Das (78) from Malugram, Silchar. The patient was admitted in the hospital on 17 June and expired on 20 June, 2021.

Earlier during the day, Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) informed that 02 Covid-19 patients died there on Sunday. Their detailed reports were forwarded to the State Death Audit Board. Both of them are from Cachar district.

The 02 deceased at SMCH were identified as Dhananjoy Das (70) from Daramkhal in Cachar district and Pradip Tanti (74) from Laboc Tea Estate in Cachar.
