CM Assam visits RSS headquarters in Nagpur, meets Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat

June 11: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma went to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur on Friday to meet RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. As per reports, the meeting between Mohan Bhagwat and Himanta Biswa Sarma lasted for around an hour. However, what transpired in the meeting between them could not be known. The Chief Minister also also paid floral tributes at the statue of the founding father of RSS Dr KB Hedgewar. This was his 1st visit to RSS headquarters since he became the Chief Minister of Assam on May 2021.

Later on taking to his twitter handle, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Visited Dr Hedgewar Smarak Samiti, Nagpur. Blessed to have paid my homage to @RSSorg founding Sarsanghchalak Parampujyaniya Dr KB Hedgewar at his Smriti Mandir. Also paid respect to 2nd Sarsanghchalak Parampujyaniya Sri MS Golwalkar at his Smriti Chinha.”
