62 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Saturday, 122 discharged

June 5: Hailakandi registered 62 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Of the 62 positive cases detected on Saturday, 60 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 02 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 1,312 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,805 RAT tests and 192 RT-PCR tests were done. 122 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 6,671. As of now, 2,036 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 65 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Friday.

As of now, in the 56,500 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine (irrespective of age), whereas, 16,748 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
