Final inspection of accounts of contesting candidates of Karimganj election district

May 20: All the contesting candidates of five Assembly constituencies of Karimganj election district have been asked to submit relevant records of election expenditure for 4th and final inspection of accounts without fail. An order to this effect was issued to all the contesting candidates of LAC 3 North Karimganj, LAC 2′ Patharkandi, LAC 1 Ratabari, LAC 4 South Karimganj and LAC 5 Badarpur by CEO Zilla Parishad cum Officer Incharge of Election Expenditure Monitoring Cell, Assembly Election, 2021, Amalendu Roy here on Monday.

Roy stated that as per the ECI guidelines, all the contesting candidates or his election agents have to submit the day-to-day election related expenditure without fail. The dates for submission of final inspection of accounts for LAC North Karimganj has been fixed on May 25 and for LACs Patharkandi and Ratabari on May 26 while for LACs South Karimganj and Badarpur on May 27, respectively. The venue for inspection of accounts on the stipulated dates against the respective LACs will take place at the conference hall of Zilla Parishad from 9.30 am onwards, the order stated.
