Assembly Election: Training of counting officials & staff begins in Cachar district

April 22: Training of officials and staff for Counting of Votes in connection with Assembly Elections, 2021 began in Cachar district on Thursday. The training is being imparted to the RO, ARO, Micro Observers, Additional Micro Observers, Counting Superviser, Counting Assistant, Additional staff etc. A total off 36 Assembly level Master Trainers (ALMT) are providing the training at Govt Gir’s HS & MP School, Silchar. Apart from counting of votes registered in EVM, training is also being imparted on postal ballots & ETPBS.

The training will continue till 28 April, 2021. Counting of votes will take place at NATRiP in Jhapirbond, Cachar on 2 May from 8 AM onwards.
