As part of CSR, SBI donated computers to GC College to enhance digital literacy

Feb. 3: On discharging Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, State Bank of India (SBI) has given 5 computers to GC College, Silchar, a premier educational institution of Northeast region. The computers were given in presence of the college teachers including Chandan Paul Choudhury, Associate Professor, Deptt of Geology. Genera Manager of SBI Eastern India was present during the occasion. In his speech, GM (Eastern India), SBI said that the computers were given in a bid to enhance digital literacy programme.
