Essay & poster writing competition held in Radhamadhab College

Jan. 27: The Department of English, Radhamadhab College, Silchar organised Essay writing and poster writing competition. The topic of the essay writing competition was “Effects of pandemic on the academic scenario” whereas, the the theme of poster writing competition was “Covid19 : Prevent the infection”.

Dr. Debashish Roy, Principal of RMC, the three Coordinators of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)- Arunabha Bhattacharjee, Sudarshan Gupta & Dr. Sonali Choudhury (Biswas), the judges and faculty members of the department were present in the event which was held in the conference room. Prizes and certificates were distributed among the students and the judges were felicitated with tokens of appreciation.

Speaking during the occasion, Arundhuti Dutta Choudhury, Head, Department of English said that such kind of competitions helps in the development of writing skills of the students. She urged upon the students to participate in large numbers in such co-curricular activities.

It needs mention here that Radhamadhab College, Silchar (RMC) established in the year 1971 is going to celebrate its Golden Jubilee this year. The year long celebrations will kick start on 7th February, 2021 with a grand rally.
