06 tests +ve in Cachar on Tuesday, tally reaches 11,372

Jan. 5: On Tuesday, a total of 06 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 1,151 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, 03 persons were found positive, whereas 03 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Tuesday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,372.  Further, a total of 11,298 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 36 active cases in the district. It needs mention here that 05 persons were found positive in Cachar on Monday.
