102 tests +ve in Assam on Friday; 85 patients discharged

Dec. 18: On Friday, out of 22,762 tests, 102 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,15,250 out of which, 3,539 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.45 percent.

On Friday, 85 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,10,697 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 01 more patient died in Assam from Cachar district due to COVID-19. The death tally of the state now stands at 1011. The deceased was identified as Anjali Sengupta (78).
