Assam registers 1 more death on Wednesday due to COVID-19, toll reaches 998

Dec. 9: On Wednesday, one more person lost his life in Assam due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now reached 998. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The  deceased was identified as:
