Constitution day to be observed on 26 Nov in Cachar

Nov. 23 : Constitution day will be observed on Thursday, the 26th of November in Cachar District. Issuing a letter  to this effect on Monday, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, Rajib Roy stated that as per communication received from government of India, 26 November will be observed in Cachar District and this year Prime Minister of India will lead the reading of the preamble of constitution of India at 11 AM on that day.

It was also stated that all offices of the state government, autonomous bodies, organisation, self government institutions, educational institutions will join the prime minister of India in reading of the preamble at 11 AM on Thursday from their respective offices and locations.

Other activities including talks, webinars on constitutional values and fundamental principles of Indian constitution will be organised strictly maintaining COVID-19 protocols as per the government instruction.
