CEO, Zilla Parishad reviews P&RD schemes with BDOs

Nov.22: The Chief Executive Officer of Hailakandi Zilla Parishad, Jaydeep Shukla reviewed the implementation of different schemes of Panchayat & Rural Development being executed in Hailakandi district here on Saturday. Reviewing the different schemes at his office conference hall with the BDOs of five development blocks and other officials, CEO Shukla them for expeditious implementation of the schemes for the welfare of all sections of people.

Shukla took stock of the implementation of PM Awas Yojana, MGNREGA and other schemes and fund allotment under the 14th Finance Commission. The CEO discussed threadbare with the BDOs in removing the lacunae and other stumbling blocks to pave the way for smooth implementation of the schemes. He said as most of the schemes are ongoing, the people must be made aware of it so that they can avail the schemes.

Shukla asked the BDOs to gird up their loins and to improve upon the key parameters as the performances of every district would be reviewed by the Chief Minister on December 1. He also asked the BDOs to involve panchayat representatives in the scheme of things and engage them in various stages of scheme implementation. This is the second review meeting the CEO had after assuming office last month.
