Huge crowd gathers in various meetings of Himanta Biswa in Dhakiajuli constituency

Nov. 2: A sea of people accumulated at the various public meetings conducted by Assam, Education, Health and Finance minister Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Dhakiajuli constituency on Monday. Expressing delight about the huge crowd, the minister himself tweeted, “Incredible! Large number of people gathered today at Panbari Tea Garden in Dhekiajuli as I laid the foundation stone of Model High School there. Their support is highly encouraging & reaffirms our faith in the vision of PM @narendramodi to strive for excellence in each field.” In all the public meetings, the norm of social distancing was compromised. Many were even seen without face masks.

He laid the foundation stone of the Model High School at Sonabil Tea Garden in Rangapara. The minister was accompanied by Tezpur Lok Sabha MP Pallab Lochan Das. Himanta Biswa Sarma also laid the foundation stone of a Swahid Park and an Old Age Home in Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district. He was accompanied by Lok Sabha MP Pallab Lochan Das, Dhekiajuli MLA Ashok Singhal and Barchala MLA Ganesh Limbu.

He then laid foundation stone of Road from Palash Pathar to Singori Bagan, to be constructed by Assam PWD under PMGSY (2019-20). He also laid foundation stone of Model High School at Dhekiajuli Tea Garden. He then addressed a Public Rally at Borsola. The minister laid the foundation stone of Model High School at Dibru Darang Tea Garden at Dhekiajuli. 

In a tweet, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Shall forever be grateful for all the love and warmth bestowed upon me by the people of Dhekiajuli today.”
