Former CM Tarun Gogoi discharged from GMCH after 60 days

Oct. 25: Former Chief Minister of Assam, Tarun Gogoi was discharged from Guwahati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) on Sunday after 60 days of hospitalisation. His further treatment shall continue in his official residence under the supervision of the doctors from medical college.

Tarun Gogoi tested COVID-19 positive on 26 August and was admitted at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH). A team of 9 doctors under the Chairmanship of Dr Jogesh Sarma, HOD, Pulmonary Medicine Department of Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) was constituted to monitor the health status of Tarun Gogoi, former Chief Minister of Assam.
