Another leader of BJP arrested in Assam Police SI recruitment scam

Oct. 11: After BJP Leader Diban Deka, another prime suspect, Jintu Nath was arrested on Sunday morning in the question paper leak scam of Assam Police Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment examination. Jintu Nath is the Vice President of the BJP’s Bezera circle under Jalukbari constituency. He was arrested from Jamuguri area in north Assam’s Sonitpur district With this, Assam Police has still now arrested 46 persons in connection with the question paper leak scandal.

Meanwhile, the Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Sunday seized a total of Rs. 4.20 lakh from an establishment ‘Trishna Global Pvt Ltd’ in Zoo road, Guwahati. The company is owned by Saroj Sharma, one of the prime accused in the recruitment scam, who was arrested on Friday. It needs mention here that the Assam police on Saturday recovered around Rs 5.37 crore from the three districts of Asssam.
