1451 patients discharged in Assam on Saturday

Oct. 10: On Saturday, 1451 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,63,352 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. At present, there are 29,221 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1451 patients discharged today. It is my advise to all recovered patients to take care of your health by having nutritious diet & proper rest. Best Wishes.”

On Saturday, 971 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now reached 1,93,387. During the day, 27,491 tests were done in Assam. Moreover, during the day, another 09 persons in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of Assam to 811.
