Assam registers 11 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Monday, toll rises to 760

Oct. 5: On Monday, another 11 persons died in Assam due to coronavirus. With this, the death toll in the state due to COVID-19 has now reached 760. This was confirmed in a tweet on Monday night by State Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The 11 deceased were identified as:

• Thakur Das Roy (58) of Sivasagar
• Biren Dolley (44) of Dhemaji
• Gunahati Baruah (65) of Lakhimpur
• Aniruddha Deka (55) of Barpeta
• Goreswari Boro (65) of Darrang
• Rafique Hussain Hazarika (52) of Kamrup Metro
• Akhilesh Dutta (32) & Luchan Bora (65) of Golaghat
• Durgeswar Medhi (56) of Morigaon
• Khukon Dutta (67) & Paresh Bharali (57) of Dibrugarh.
