Assam registers 7 more deaths due to COVID-19, tally rises to 352

Sept. 5: On Saturday, Assam registered 7 more deaths due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now gone upto 352. In a tweet, this was confirmed by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday night. The deceased were identified as:

• Faizul Islam Laskar (62) of Hailakandi
• Rajen Kakoty (80) of Kamrup Metro
• Prafulla Bora (65) of Charaideo
• Sinaram Chetia (54) of Sivasagar
• Debojani Neog (70) of Jorhat
• Badal Ch Roy (63) & Rostam Ali (63) of Darrang
