Most wanted drug peddler nabbed in Karimganj, pistol recovered

August 17: A most wanted drug peddler was arrested by Karimganj Police team from Nilambazar during ‘Naka checking.’ The peddler was identified as Md. Abad Uddin. Police recovered a pistol from his possession. Legal action is being initiated against him.

In another separate incident, Karimganj Police apprehended two drug peddlers namely Raysul Haque and Ali Hussain from Patharkandi PS area and recovered 25 nos. of vials containing suspected to be brown sugar weighing 14 gms along with Rs. 59,000/- cash, three mobile sets and a car. Legal action is being initiated.
