Udharbond Matribasha Oikyamancha pays tribute to martyr Bacchu Chakraborty

August 17: On Monday, Udharbond Matribasha Oikyamancha paid rich tribute to martyr Bacchu Chakraborty. In this connection, he was remembered by laying a wreath at the Shaheed Minar by the members of Matribhasha Oikyamancha early in the morning.

Further, on Monday evening, after lighting the lamp at the Shaheed Bedi, the ceremony was announced over. On the same day, Matribhasha Oikyamancha condemned the heinous murder of a five-month-old baby in Kazidhar. Later, Sanju Roy, Secretary of Matribhasha Oikyamancha, said, “We celebrate this day every year. This time too there was no exception. Let every language be protected”. He appealed to people of every language to respect their mother tongue. The people of Barak respect every language group and martyrs.”

Strongly condemning the killing of a child a few days ago, Sanju Roy said that the child was killed in the most heinous way in Kazidhar. They demanded exemplary punishment for real culprit of the incident. He also demanded the central and state governments to rename the Silchar Railway Station as Bhasa Shaheed Station, Silchar.
