Movement of individuals prohibited between 9.30 PM to 5 AM in Cachar from 16 August

August 16: Movement of individuals shall remain strictly prohibited in between 9.30 PM to 5 AM in entire Cachar district from 16 August to 9.30 PM of 31 August. District Magistrate, Cachar, Keerthi Jalli promulgated night curfew under Section 144 CrPC prohibiting total movement of individuals between 9.30 PM and 5 AM barring essential services throughout the district of Cachar. The order that comes into force with immediate effect from 9.30 PM on Monday shall remain in force until further orders. This was stated in a Press Release issued from the Office of DDIPR, Silchar on 16 August.
