AHSEC seeks suggestion for reduction of HS syllabi due to coronavirus pandemic
August 10: The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has resulted in closure of educational institutions in the country since the month of March, 2020. As a result, the declaration of HS Final Year results by most boards including CBSE was delayed this year. Further, due to the pandemic, the session will also start late during this academic year. As a result, most of the Board/ Councils have decided to reduce the course contents.
It is in this connection that Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) have sought suggestion regarding reduction of HS syllabus this year. In a letter addressed to all Principals having H.S. scheme of course under AHSEC, it was stated that, “It is our pleasure to take views and suggestions from you whether the present syllabus of AHSEC should be reduced or it can be overcome by giving sufficient number of alternative options in the final examination papers.”
In this connection, the AHSEC has requested to provide suggestion through email id ahsecAca@gmail.com on or before 11 August, 2020.
