985 patients discharged on Sunday in Assam

July 26: On Sunday, a total of 985 patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam. With this, the total number of 24,040 patients were discharged in Assam as of now. As of now, there are 8106 active cases in the state. Sunday also registered 2 deaths related to coronavirus, thereby taking the death tally to 79. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “985 patients have been discharged today. Large number of patients going back home everyday is an outcome of great efforts being put by our doctors. Gratitude!”
