53 new +ve cases detected in Cachar on Sunday, total count 1201

July 26: On Sunday, a total of 53 COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Cachar district. With this, the district COVID tally has gone upto 1201. At around 10.10 PM on Sunday, District Media Expert Suman Choudhury in a message informed that, as per direction of Deputy Commissioner “53 positive cases were found on Sunday as per results of 3 slots and Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT).” Mr. Choudhury also informed that some more results are expected on Sunday night which may increase the tally. Apart from this, no further information was divulged by the district administration.

Some health workers, jawans of the armed forces, Nodal Officer of Covid Care Centre at Foreigners’ Tribunal in Rongpur, a college student from Central Road, 4 police personnel health worker and many others were in the list of positive cases detected during the day.
