Assam registers 11th COVID-19 death on Sunday

June 28: Amidst the rise of coronavirus cases, Assam registered its 11th death due to COVID-19. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that a 45-years-old man, Hemanga Majumdar, resident of Khanapara, Guwahati died due to COVID-19 on Sunday in Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH). He was brought to GMCH in critical state. However, all efforts of the doctors went in vain and he breathed his last on Sunday.
