100 police personnel & BSF jawans provided refreshment by Leo Youth in Karimganj

April 28: The outbreak of coronavirus pandemic and nationwide lockdown has brought life to a standstill. However, in order to ease our life, the corona warriors are round the clock on duty. Apart from the health workers, the cops too are doing an extremely tiresome duty round the clock in providing us security and help at this hour of crisis. As a mark of gratitude, Leo Club of Karimganj Youth (the youth wing of Lions Club of Karimganj) distributed refreshment among the  cops.

On Tuesday, the members of Leo Club of Karimganj Youth provided refreshment to around 100 police personnel and BSF jawans in Karimganj. Speaking to way2barak, Srinath Banik, President of the club said, “Today we provided a cake and Frooti to the security personnel in Karimganj who are risking their lives just to save our nation. We all Leos stand united against COVID-19. Stay home, stay safe.”

The Leos distributed the refreshment at Karimganj Sadar Thana, Karimganj Police Reserve, Langai Garad- Karimganj and Duty officers on road. A total of 12 Leos participated in the distribution of refreshment. Those present during the day were President of Leo Club of Karimganj Youth Srinath Banik, Project Chairman- Abhishek Chakraborty, Bithika Choudhury, Sohan Biswas, Rimu Kr. Deb, Manojeet Dhar, Anirban Ghosh, Aparna Dey, Rahul Biswas, tapash Paul, Prateem Kr. Deb and Parashar Ghosh.
